Welcome to the Home Web site of Christa M. Fons. This site was created to inform students and staff of Renaissance high school of content related material for the courses that I currently teach. My Biography...

After high school, I enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. I was stationed in Germany and had an opportunity to travel to Turkey, Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy, Amsterdam, and, at that time, East and West Berlin. While serving in the military, I attended classes in the evening. After four years active duty enlistment I attended college full time. I completed my Bachelors Degree in Accounting at Walsh College in Troy, Michigan and went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. After the arrival of my three beautiful boys, I decided to go back to school and pursue a career in teaching. I had always enjoyed training and teaching.  I earned my Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from Wayne State University.  I began teaching in Southfield Public Schools in 2004 and came to Clarkston August 2009.

As a family we enjoy boating, biking, dirt-bike riding, gardening, and everything outdoors.  I also enjoy scrapbooking and attending various sporting events.
